ValueMate, Inc. (“ValueMate,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides AI-assisted appraisal software for appraisers, lenders, and AMCs. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through valuemate.ai and related subdomains (the “Site”) and the ValueMate web and mobile applications (the “Apps”), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site or the Apps, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect information in a few ways:

• Information you provide. When you request a demo, join a waitlist, or contact us, we collect details like your name, email address, company, role, and any message you send us.
• Usage data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Site, including pages viewed, referring URLs, browser and device type, and timestamps.
• Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and local storage to keep the Site working correctly and to measure engagement, as described in Cookies & analytics below.

ValueMate applications

In addition to the Site, this Policy covers the ValueMate web and mobile applications (the “Apps”). When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and organization. When you use the Apps, we collect and store the content you create — appraisal report data, property photos and videos (including audio in walkthrough recordings), floor plans, and related files — which syncs to our cloud infrastructure so your work is available across your devices and to your organization. We use analytics providers within the Apps to understand feature usage and improve the product. App content is processed only by the service providers that host it on our behalf, such as database and file storage providers, and is never sold or used for advertising. Report data is retained while your account is active; you can request deletion of your account and associated data at support@valuemate.ai.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to inquiries and provide the products and services you request;
• Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our products;
• Understand aggregate usage trends and measure the effectiveness of our content; and
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity.

Cookies & analytics

We use PostHog to analyze how visitors use the Site, including page views, clicks, and session behavior, and to help us catch errors. This may involve setting cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect how parts of the Site function.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

• Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as analytics, hosting, database and file storage, and email delivery providers — bound by confidentiality and use restrictions;
• Professional advisors such as legal, accounting, and financial advisors, as needed; and
• Authorities or third parties where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights & choices

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
